Diwali Fest NJ 2018 is proud to be joined by Monika Mahajan for a second year in a row! who will share the tastes of Diwali with festival goers.
Monika is a nutritionist, a registered dietitian and a food stylist. Her background is in homeopathic medicine, Reiki and spirituality.
Food is intrinsically important to Monika. She believes that we are what we eat, and that it’s a reflection of our culture and well-being.
At Diwali Fest NJ, Monika will be showing families how to make a traditional Diwali sweet. She will talk through the process of making the sweet, and the cultural significance of food on this holiday.
